The food is so good. The service was fast. And during this time of Covid it meant being able to order and get home fast. Friendly staff and again great food.

I've "almost" eaten here a few times before but I've never pulled the trigger. I did tonight though and . I love finding places that are awesome but that it seems the whole world doesn't know about quite yet. Food is awesome and the servers were very friendly too.

This is the best food in the Birmingham-Hoover Metropolitan area. I really wish it was located downtown Birmingham. Because in my entire 4 years of University here, I've never heard of Jakes until the BLM Movement...sadly. I won't even be here much longer to eat there. On top of all of that, the employees showed cleanliness during the Pandemic.

One of the places to eat in Hoover. I have yet to have a bad meal there. The jerk chicken is one of he best items on the menu. Let's not forget the sweet potatoes. Definitely worth the wait.

Excellent flavor profile every time curbside was implemented as a creative approach to adjusting to its environment and hasn't missed a beat on service and/or flavor. Consistency builds/creates repeat customers as we have been visiting for 2 or 3 years now!!! Thx for the pride you take in your product(s) and service
